CS's 5-year-old Checkup

I'm so proud of my Carlee Scott! We had her 5-year-old checkup today with her pediatrician. She did GREAT! For some reason, I thought she was going to get a shot, but turns out she's all up to date and needed nothing. I was a little disappointed at first because we had talked about it soooo much and CS had finally agreed that she was going to be brave and not squirm or scream. Instead of a shot, she bravely got a flu mist up her nose and a throat culture (her throat had been bothering her recently and was red). She did GREAT!!!! So proud of my big girl. To celebrate, we went to the PX where she picked out a small treat and insisted on getting Owen something, too. Carlee Scott has THE best heart!! As for her stats, she weighs 40.3 lbs and is 3 feet 9 inches tall. On a side note, she took her new medication today (a pill) for the first time and was such a champ! SHe swallowed it with one try and said it was easy. I can distinctly remember having trouble with pills into my teenage years. My little girl is amazing!!

CS Update

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to drop in and give you all a quick update on Carlee Scott's health situation. Her Developmental Pediatrician is going to change her medication from a liquid (3x daily dose) to a pill (just once a day but lasts for 24 hours). We are hoping this will make a HUGE difference for our little lady and work so much better for her. Can't wait!
