Bread

So I baked my very first loaf of homemade bread today! Thanks to Mimi for the great Honey Wheat bread recipe. I've heard making bread can be tricky and that's why I've never tried it. I have to say, it turned out pretty good! I have to work on shaping it a little better and getting rid of the gooey part in the middle. Not bad for a first try!

Broken Computer

Soooo I've been a little MIA because there is something wrong with our PC. Will does his work on a laptop but the desktop is "mine." That's where I do all the blogging, Facebooking, researching, etc. I'm not a fan of laptops, so that PC is my little baby!! For some reason, it won't boot up. We keep getting error message after error message. It hasn't worked for several days now. It's driving me craaaaaaaaazy!!!! I feel lost without it. I plan on calling someone tomorrow to see what we can do about it. Stay tuned!

Nothing New

Hey everyone!! Hope y'all are doing well. We're doing well up here in the PNW. I wish I had some exciting news for you, but we're just hanging out!

Will has started going to work/inprocessing, so it's been the kids and me during the day. It's been an adjustment, since I'm still trying to figure out what on earth will keep the kids busy in these new surroundings. We've been going to the gym on post daily and that's been excellent. The kids love it. The weather was gorgeous today so we played in the sprinkler outside and went to the playground for a bit.

On the Texas house issue, we still haven't sold it but we are THIS close to having a renter!! There is a surgeon from Abilene moving down there and is interested in renting for 6 months. We're finalizing some contract details - like when the lease will start and when it will go on the market again before the contract is up - but things are looking good!

The Vaheys

A few weeks before we moved to Washington, Will drove up here with his Dad to drop his car off. Friends of friends (we'd never even met them) were gracious enough to keep Will's car in the driveway while Will flew back to Texas and we made our marathon trip up here. Tonight, they had us over for dinner and it was SO much fun!! They also have two kids - a boy and a girl - the same ages as ours. Fast friends!
