I found this in Carlee Scott's laundry basket. Apparently, Barbie's ballet costume was dirty. How adorable that Carlee Scott put it in her basket!! She thinks so much like a little mommy.

The Hugging Chaplain

This is what happens when you ask the Chaplain to give your husband a big hug for his birthday!!! Megan Bates asked Will on Facebook to give her hubby Jason a hug today from her. Of course Will did it...look how positively thrilled Jason is...HAHA!!

Will's Day!

Will had a GREAT birthday, thanks to all of you! In addition to many Facebook comments and nice emails, he got tons of cards!
This is one of the funniest parts about his birthday. A while back, I sent his commander this old pic of Will for use today. During the commander's update this morning, they inserted this picture into the PowerPoint slideshow and had written on it "Put your party hats on, it's Chaplain Alley's 30th birthday!" Hilarious!! He was completely shocked and all the guys thought it was hysterical.

He also got this guideon as a surprise gift from George (on the left, fellow VMI grad) and Blake (on the right, his assistant). HOW SWEET!THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE WILL'S 30TH BIRTHDAY SO WONDERFUL!

Birthday Party

I took Carlee Scott to a fun birthday party today while Laura watched Owen. It was so much fun.

Classic

We recently began talking to Will via webcam and it is AWESOME! We haven't seen him in "live" action in over 4 months so actually watching him talk was fascinating. He hasn't been able to view any of the videos I sent him so it was his first time seeing us in "live" action, too! I took the picture below when CS and Daddy did webcam for the first time together. I took it at the exact moment when she realized it wasn't a recording and that Daddy was really there!

Will's Easter

Will had a great Easter! He started his day off with a sunrise service at ancient monastery. Then he traveled around to the Combat Out Posts to do services for the soldiers.
